The Houston Hockey Community is a non profit 501(C3) organization committed to growing the sport by providing inclusive and affordable hockey programs tailored for individuals with all abilities, underprivileged youth and Veterans.  

The NHL Street Program

This initiative is dedicated to removing financial and social barriers, allowing children to engage in a team sport of hockey.

The Benefit:

Learning essential life skills such as teamwork, confidence, and self-esteem while creating a safe and enriching platform for participation. Each session is filled with fun and encouragement, helping children develop physical skills and coordination as individuals and as part of a team, while promoting inclusivity.

Veterans Program

This initiative offers adaptive and affordable hockey programs for all veterans including those with disabilities. We provide opportunities for veterans to join in our Adult Hockey Programs. We will soon be offering learn to skate and play programs and will continue with an annual Veterans appreciation game each November.

The transformative power of hockey and other sports is a vital outlet providing a therapeutic, educational and social experience, we are passionate about sharing the joy of the game with veterans across the community. 

TIMBITS  Learn to Skate and Play

We have partnered with 2 other ice rinks and one roller rink. The Galleria Ice and Bellerive Ice and Nemesis Roller Hockey for our youth learn to skate and play Tim Horton Timbits hockey programs

The Benefit

This is available to youth players 2 to 12 that has never played hockey at affordable rates
